Pakistan Seniors Cricket Team defeated India Seniors by 43 runs in the third and final One-Day International played at the Firoz Shah Kotla Ground in New Dehli and won the series 3-0.
 
Mohammad Azharuddin Captain of India Seniors won the toss and elected to field. Pakistan scored a mammoth 283 for the loss of 5 wickets in the stipulated 40 Overs. Ijaz Ahmed was again the top scorer with an unbeaten 61 in 52 balls hitting 3 sixes and 4 fours. Amir Akbar scored 55 off 67 balls hitting 6 fours. Azam Khan scored 51 off 54 balls and Mansoor Akhtar hit 40 runs from 42 balls. 
Narvinder Harwani was the most successful Indian bowler claiming 2 wickets for 63 runs. Sanjeev Sharma , Rahesh Chauhan and Vijay Mishra claimed 1 wicket each for 35, 48 and 31 runs respectively. 
Despite a brilliant century by Vivek Razdan, India Seniors fell short of the target by 43 runs and could only score 240 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 40 Overs. 
Vivek Razdan scored 102 in 103 balls hitting 3 sixes and 5 fours. Sanjeev Sharma scored 33 runs in 41 balls and Sumit Chauhan scored 24 runs in 18 balls. 
Abdul Qadir, Arshad Khan and Ijaz Faqih took 2 wickets each for 37, 44 and 44 runs respectively.
